Health and Economic Finance Development Consortium (HEFDC) has evolved over the decades to what we are today: one of Africa’s leading providers of Consulting Advisory Services and Technical Support in Health and HIV/AIDS; Macroeconomic Development, Governance and Institutional Support; Training and Capacity Building, Research and Audit and Financial Services.
We started our journey in 1980 as Economic Finance Development Consultants (EFDC) with the aim of supporting national and regional development initiatives across various sectors. Over the last three decades we have built a solid client base of governments and quasi-government entities, development agencies and private sector clients. Our evolution has been driven by the desire to remain responsive to the changes in the environments in which we operate.
Our clients have included Global Fund, IFAD, WHO, EU, ACP, UNCTAD, COMESA, International Trade Centre, ILO, UNIDO, FAO, UNESCO, Government of Tanzania, EAC Secretariat, AMREF, SIDA, UNDP, World Bank, GoK, in sectors such as Health, Industrial Development, Trade, Tourism and Agriculture and Rural Development.
