Jayne a Kenyan is an accomplished Social Science Researcher, Gender and Project Management Specialist, with over 15 years of expertise in project design, gender mainstreaming, advocacy, participatory monitoring and evaluation (PM&E). Proficient in capacity building, policy development, and research, with extensive consultancy experience across Africa. Her expertise includes gender equality advocacy, on both Sexual and Reproductive Health and Right (SRHR), rural women’s socio-economic empowerment, and participatory planning using a Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA). She is also skillful in Gender Mainstreaming Training and Audits, data collection and quality control, data processing, analysis, interpretation, and report writing.

Jayne has actively participated in gender advocacy initiatives focusing on rural women’s agriculture and digital inclusion, land rights, and socio-economic empowerment. She has also championed Persons with Disabilities (PWD) resilience and played a key role in the She for Her Land (S4HL) campaign and transformative gender advocacy through Gender Is My Agenda (GIMAC) and the African Union Development Agency.

A Master of Arts in Project Planning and Management and a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology with bias in Christian Leadership from Great Lakes University of Kisumu support her extensive professional experience. Additionally, she has completed postgraduate certifications in Participatory Approaches to Development, Advocacy, Gender Mainstreaming, Social Audit, and Management from GIZ Germany and Coady Institute in Canada. These credentials have further strengthened her theoretical knowledge in program administration, advocacy, governance, and livelihood analysis.
