Dr Grace Muriithi

Dr. Grace K. Muriithi, a Kenyan is an international public health, research/evaluation and team leadership expert. with over 20 years’ experience in national researches, program and strategy evaluations, and in international teams’ leadership. She has skills and experience in leading international, multidisciplinary teams to conduct complex evaluations i.e. team leader for multi-country complex thematic evaluation study of Integrated Community case management (iCCM) covering eighteen (18) Sub-Saharan countries.

She was between 2008 – 2012 team leader for: (i) evaluation of two (2) national Strategies for health sector and Kenya Expanded Program for immunization respectively; two (2) national surveys in Kenya on socio-economic impact of HIV AIDS with gender cross cutting themes. In 2010 she was team leader for Gender Mainstreaming into HIV response under National AIDS Control Council in Kenya. From 2016 to 2022, she was the Project Manager for GF Service Provider, HEFDC, during this period both Technical Assurance (TA) and Quality Assurance (QA) services were successfully delivered to support several countries. In 2024, she was the M&E consultant of Kenya Ministry of Health (MoH) to conduct “End-Term Review of the Kenya Nutrition Action Plan 2018 – 2022. She is Board Director since 2023.

She has capacity building skills and experience from her work as a training coordinator with AMREF an international NGO; as the Regional Training Advisor with USAID/OFDA . Grace has extensive skills and experience in Health Systems Strengthening from her work as the Primary Health Care Advisor in Karagwe Tanzania with Belgium Technical Coorporation, and consultancy work.

Her countries of experience include: Botswana, Cameroon, Eritrea, Eswatini, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan, Zambia, and Tanzania, Kenya, Liberia, Cameroon, Malawi, South Sudan and Zambia
